Bistro Le Relais – Operations
Anthony
Dike was born in Switzerland, where he spent most of
his childhood. He moved to New York in 1981 to work with E.F.
Hutton company, and started working in the New York restaurant
scene. Dike worked at Mortimer’s and other stylish places
before he became
Maitre d’ at the elegant La Goulue. He partnered with
Jean DeNoyer to open Le Relais in Louisville’s historic
Bowman Field in 1988, and has since become the sole proprietor
and owner. Dike has a flair and passion for food, excellent
wines, and superb service that has made Le Relais know as the
best French restaurant in the area. Anthony Dike also has built
an incredible wine list, achieving several Wine Spectator awards.
After 21 years in Louisville with wife Mary Jo, Anthony Dike
has
become the face of Le Relais as well as being known as the
consummate host of the city.
